OVERVIEW:
Math 222 is an introductory course on ordinary differential
equations. As such, most of the class topics will be about
learning the problem-solving techniques for some simpler types,
and somewhat less emphasis on theory. On the other hand,
an effort will be given to modeling and applications. Along
the way, we will see that differential equations naturally
appear in surprisingly many situations in physical, biological,
social sciences, ....
