APPLICATION
  
How to apply: A complete application packet
(which can be submitted electronically or by mail) includes:
A brief essay (one or two typed double spaced page, .doc or .pdf format) describing your mathematical
interests and career goals, including your plans for graduate studies in mathematics or any related
field. You might indicate in the essay what your broader interests in mathematical research are.
It can be submitted electronically as attachment.
A word (.doc) or .pdf document, that can be submitted electronically as attachment, containing the following information:
Titles of college
mathematics, physics and computer science courses completed and textbooks used.
Titles of college
mathematics, physics and computer science courses in which you are currently
enrolled and textbooks you are using.
Two recommendation letters from professors who are familiar with your
work. The letters should be sent by the professors, either electronically (in .doc or .pdf format) or in sealed envelopes to the mailing
address of the department below.
Transcript of grades (unofficial acceptable) from your school. Transcripts can be submitted electronically or to the mailing
address of the department.
