WELCOME!!! This page has three types of
information available: material about my personal life and background;
information for students in my courses, and pointers to some spots where
you might find me on the Internet. I hope that you will find this
information of interest.

PERSONAL:
I was born in Teaneck, New
Jersey, and raised in nearby Dumont
(NJ). Subsequently I graduated from Fordham University (B.A., M.A.),
Woodstock College (M.Div.)--now a Research Center,
Yale University (S.T.M.), and The University of Chicago (Ph.D.).
Currently I am Chair of the
Department of Religious Studies & Theology at Canisius College and am
a Jesuit and a Roman Catholic priest. Until its
final release in January 1997 I also did beta testing for NCSA's
Windows Mosaic.

Catholic Perspectives.

- ZPR 351: Contemporary Catholic Social Ethics: Philosophical and
Theological Perspectives is an interdisciplinary 4
credit course that permits students to complete one Area Studies'
course requirement in both Religious Studies (Area VI) and
Philosophy (Area V). A
copy in MS Word format of the Syllabus for Spring 2004 is now
available. Other course information and materials may be found on
Blackboard. [Please note
that those who have already passed
PHI 372, Catholic Social Thought, may not take this
course.]
