Canisius Ambassadors for Conservation This is a program in which Canisius College students study wildlife in the field, and meet with conservation workers at the frontlines of our efforts to preserve threatened habitats. This year, the CAC program will focus on the US National Wildlife Refuge system, and we will visit refuges all along the Mississippi flyway and along the Texas Gulf Coast. Here are some of the program highlights: - Spring break travel to fourteen different wildlife refuges - all travel expenses covered by the PCDP program - 24 public service days at Iroquois Nat’l Wildlife Refuge in May-June - $500 stipend paid to each student This is a special program for special people. It is for students who care about wildlife conservation and who are willing to promote environmental protection.
