My most memorable moment occurred when we were in the field with Michele, the South Dakota bighorn sheep biologist. After spending an entire day in the field searching for Bighorn sheep, in the final moments of daylight Michele spotted a Bighorn Ram sitting on a rock formation looking at us from a great distance. Seeing this majestic animal in its natural setting was inspiring. The feeling of awe that I experienced is something that I will not soon forget.
