Nothing in the world comes close to the power and beauty of the ocean. It is the origin of life and links all of us around the world, as well as past, present, and future generations, with its mystery and magic. I fell in love with California, but more so I formed a connection with the ocean and the life within it that will be with me forever. I stood in the middle of almost 300 dolphins, with the salt spray of the crashing waves in my face, and my view of the world was flipping upside down. It made me realize how small I was, but more so, how small the world really is. 

Each piece of the puzzle, from the Monarch butterfly to the Grey whale, fits perfectly into an intricate system of natural balance. It is this balance that Canisius Ambassadors for Conservation  are working to preserve, so that everyone can be touched by the inspiration of the oceans as we were, as well as the mountains, deserts, and forests that cover this planet that we all share.
