The Teachers’ Education Club is an academic club that supplies students with an understanding of teacher education as a discipline.  The club provides an excellent opportunity to become further involved with aspects of the education field.  It is a great social opportunity to associate with fellow education majors.   : )

Your involvement in TED can be a
great resume builder to set you apart from other prospective teachers when seeking a job in the education field!

Join TED for a Movie Night!!

Take a breather after the first couple days back from break and watch a movie with TED!  We will be showing the movie Won’t Back Down which is about 2 mothers (one being a teacher) trying to transform their children’s failing school.  This is a very good movie to see for all of you planning on going into the field of education.

To Have Succeeded

“To laugh often and love much:
To win respect of intelligent people
And the affection of children;
To earn the approbation of honest critics
And endure the betrayal of false friends;
To appreciate beauty;
To find the best in others;
To give one's self;
To leave the world a little better,
Whether by a healthy child,
A garden patch,
Or redeemed social condition;
To have played and laughed with enthusiasm
And sung with exultation;
To know even one life has breathed easier
Because you have lived...
This is to have succeeded.”

Ralph Waldo Emerson
