ABEC251 Zoo Animal Management

Managing zoos requires more than knowledge of animal husbandry. In this course, we will focus on a number of aspects of zoo management, including education, conservation, budgets, hiring, population management and operations. Much of the course work will involve projects (some individual, some group) to provide realistic learning opportunities.
